“I define connection as the energy that exists between people when they feel seen, heard and valued; when they can give and receive without judgement; and when they derive sustenance and strength from the relationship.” – Brene Brown

Creating meaningful connections with ourselves and others we trust is integral in embracing recovery. Being honest about ourselves with ourselves and trusted people in our lives is the key to achieving goals and peace of mind.

My vision for Recovery with Lee, is to share the practices, research and insights that enabled me to stay true to my intentions within the many layers of recovery. These practices have gradually evolved into mindsets that continue to prove valuable in reaching my goals. When we decide to transition away from harming patterns, our focus is one day at a time, and essentially, it always remains that way. Although, with self care and dedication to your intention for your life, your focus naturally shifts from navigating challenge to designing a lifestyle for happiness and purpose.

Sharing our insights, challenges, approaches and questions is integral in learning and helping. There were days, before recovery, when I could not have imagined helping others help me, and certainly to be in a place where I guide others in their recovery and discovery. This change was and is still possible is through creating connections with others, and with myself.

Do you agree that connecting and sharing honestly is key to your recovery and discovering yourself?
